United Way of Orange County recently hosted a session of the Southeast Texas Nonprofit Development Center’s Summer Series training, Built to Last: The Nonprofit Sustainability Blueprint. The training brought together nonprofit professionals from across the region for an in-depth look at the foundational strategies that support long-term organizational resilience and impact.
The session focused on five core pillars essential to nonprofit sustainability: diversified revenue streams, sustainable budgeting practices, mission clarity and adaptability, strong operational systems, and data-informed decision-making. Participants engaged in practical discussion and peer learning designed to strengthen day-to-day operations while also supporting long-term strategic growth.
By emphasizing both financial and operational stability, the training provided attendees with actionable tools to enhance organizational effectiveness and better serve their communities.
United Way of Orange County is proud to support opportunities like this that strengthen the nonprofit sector and invest in the capacity of local organizations working to improve quality of life across Southeast Texas.
Additional sessions in the Summer Series will continue in July, offering continued learning opportunities for nonprofit leaders throughout the region. See our event page for details!
