United Way of Orange County kicked off 2026 with Feed the Funnel, a high-energy volunteer event that brought more than 200 community members together to fight food insecurity. In honor of United Way of Orange County’s 100th year of service, volunteers packed 100,980 meals—surpassing the 100,000-meal goal for the centennial celebration.
Held at the Dow Business Center, the meals will be distributed to four local food pantries: Bridge City/Orangefield Ministerial Alliance, Orange Christian Services, The Salvation Army Orange, and United Christian Care Center of Vidor. Feed the Funnel reflects the power of collaboration and community, and the ongoing commitment to addressing one of Orange County’s most pressing needs—food insecurity.
