President and CEO

Maureen McAllister serves as President and CEO of United Way of Orange County, where she leads initiatives focused on building a Healthy Community, advancing Youth Opportunity, strengthening Financial Security, and promoting Community Resiliency. A passionate advocate for service and collaboration, Maureen has twice served as Chairperson of the Greater Orange Area Chamber of Commerce and is a Life Ambassador for both the GOACC and the Bridge City Chamber.

She is an active member of the Orange Rotary Club, serving on its Board of Directors, and currently serves as Secretary of the Unmet Needs Committee for Orange County Disaster Rebuild, the county’s long-term disaster recovery group. At the state level, she serves on the Board of United Ways of Texas and has been a panelist and presenter at state and national conferences.

A graduate of McNeese State University, Leadership Southeast Texas, and Southwest CUNA Management School, Maureen was named “Citizen of the Year” in 2017 and honored as one of the 2024 BBB Southeast Texas “Woman of Integrity” honorees.

Above all, she is a proud mother of three: Bryce, a graduate of Sam Houston State University; Aidan, a junior at Texas A&M University; and Alyson, a freshman at McNeese State University. She enjoys spending time with family and friends.
