Maureen McAllister serves as the President and CEO for United Way of Orange County. She is an active member of the community. Maureen has served as the Chairperson of the Board for the Greater Orange Area Chamber of Commerce (twice), and she's a Life Ambassador for the GOACC Chamber, and an Ambassador for the Bridge City Chamber. She is a member of the Orange Rotary Club and serves on the Rotary Board. Maureen also serves as the Secretary for the Unmet Needs Committee for Orange County Disaster Rebuild, the long-term recovery group for Orange County. On a state level, Maureen serves on the Board for United Ways of Texas. She has served as a panelist and presenter for state and national level conferences.
Maureen holds a bachelor’s degree from McNeese State University. She is a graduate of Leadership Southeast Texas and Southwest CUNA Management School. In 2017, Maureen was recognized as “Citizen of the Year” by the Greater Orange Area Chamber of Commerce. In 2024, Maureen was selected as one of the BBB Southeast Texas “Women of Integrity” honorees.
Maureen is the proud mom to three children; Bryce is a graduate of Sam Houston State University, Aidan is a Junior at Texas A&M University, and Alyson is a Freshman at McNeese State University. Maureen enjoys spending time with family and friends.
